Sir Keith Park – One of The Few!

As the result of visiting Auckland, New Zealand, in spring 2023, and subsequent research upon return to the UK, Dilip Sarkar provided evidence satisfying the MOD Air Historical Branch (RAF) that Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith Park, the commander of 11 Group and one of the two primary architects of victory in the Battle of Britain, was a legitimate recipient of the coveted Battle of Britain Clasp.

Sir Keith is now both a leader of and one of The Few himself, his name soon to be added to the Foxley-Norris Memorial Wall at Capel-le-Ferne, and to the online Battle of Britain London Monument.

This is, needless to say, a massive achievement of great historical significance.
